We are a registered Salesforce and Pardot consulting partner based in Cary, North Carolina. We put organizational goals first and use the Salesforce platform to accomplish them. CONFIGURATION

Configuration refers to any elements that do not require code. During the configuration process, we customize the interface to make sense for users, optimize core modules, create custom modules to reflect unique business needs, set up workflows to automate processes, and design reports and dashboards. Most importantly, we will teach admin users how to do configuration tasks going forward.

INTEGRATION

Integration with external applications, databases, or enterprise systems allows your CRM to work in concert with other elements of your IT infrastructure. Idle Tools approaches integration projects from many angles to design the best solution based on the external system (or systems) being connected to Salesforce. Integrations can be done as part of initial implementation or addressed in later phases. We help walk you through that decision.

DEVELOPMENT

Development refers to any part of the implementation or optimization plan that requires a code driven approach. We only use development as needed to make the project a success. Coding is used to create triggers, web service interfaces, custom buttons, custom pages and develop externally accessible applications. We specialize in all types of development.

TRAINING

Training is the key to long-term success and adoption. CRM systems need to change over time just as your business does. We offer both live and web based training for all our customers as well as ongoing system support and maintenance. Many of our customers “phase in” to a full implementation of CRM and Idle Tools takes pride in fostering extended partnerships and service.

our Process

Discovery

We start with the discovery phase of the project to learn business goals and objectives for the Salesforce platform. These initial conversations give us insight into your business and how the organization can best utilize features in Salesforce.

Plan

Planning involves creating a strategy and a road-map for how the implementation will occur. We will create a detailed project plan that will serve as an outline all changes to the system.

Build

Building the system is the result of great discovery and open conversation. We will customize your instance of Salesforce to meet the requirements outlined in the project plan. This will include point & click configuration and when necessary development (code). Most importantly your processes will come to life and the data structure will support reports and dashboards.

Test

Working with the client project team, we will walk through all configurations to ensure that what we have jointly devised is ready to launch. We recommend that clients allow a sample of eventual daily users to evaluate the set up and provide feedback

Roll Out

Training is essential to any system roll out. We will tailor training to cover the most relevant aspects of the system that your users will encounter on a daily basis. We ensure that users are comfortable with the use of Salesforce.com on any device and have the avenues to provide feedback for enhancements.

As the president of Idle Tools Corp, Scott runs the day-to-day operations including business development and helping clients visualize CRM future state. After a 17 year career in distribution holding roles in sales, marketing, product management, sales process development, and executive leadership, Scott started Idle Tools Corp. His goal is to help other companies maximize their return on investment from using CRM software. During his career, he has learned how to incorporate CRM tools into a company’s culture based on organizational goals to gain adoption and ROI. Scott holds a degree in business management with a minor in Psychology. He currently resides in Apex, NC with his wife Heather and two sons, Trenton and Hudson.

At Idle Tools, Wrenn manages all software development initiatives and overall CRM design for clients. With over a decade of experience in the Information Technology sector, Wrenn has been a proven software development team leader with an in-depth knowledge of development platforms and open source technologies. He has spent a majority of his career developing SaaS solutions on the Force.com platform in addition to designing highly complex systems integrations. Wrenn is a certified Salesforce.com developer, having managed Salesforce.com organizations of all sizes with responsibilities ranging from administration and development to end-user training. He holds degrees in computer science and business administration from NC State University. Wrenn currently resides in Raleigh, NC with wife Chelsey and their dog Finley.

In Jimmy’s role as general manager, he assists with business development, coordinates project teams, and works to ensure Idle Tool’s daily operations run smoothly. He brings over 15 years of experience overseeing sales, marketing, and operations. Previously, Jimmy managed and administered a Salesforce Org of 950+ users for a global fortune 500 company, and he has assembled and managed sales teams of over 100 reps. Throughout his career, he has worked with organizations ranging from start-ups to global corporations, helping to improve business processes based on understanding the unique requirements of both environments. Jimmy resides in Holly Springs, NC with his wife Jessica and their kids, Braden and Katelyn. In his free time, he coaches football and plays goal keeper for a soccer team.

Angela takes on the role of project lead / business analyst at ITC. With 15 years of experience working with large corporate organizations on IT and Marketing Operations teams as Project Lead and Operation Analyst, Angela is highly qualified for her role. Before joining the ITC team, she led a large-scale implementation of 150 users to Salesforce Sales Cloud at a large manufacturing company. Angela considers her biggest strengths to be her deep knowledge of the sales process and her ability to configure Salesforce to meet the demands of both a business and it’s customers. Angela currently lives Michigan with her family.

Ben has the unique experience of seeing Salesforce.com from both the administrative side and the user side. In a previous role as a sales rep, he was a Salesforce user. More recently, Ben worked as a Salesforce.com administrator for a major medical device company. Ben has Salesforce experience as an administrator, business analyst and developer. He has had success partnering with sales and marketing leadership to integrate four ERP systems and individually support 600 users globally. Ben currently lives in Durham, NC with his wife Melissa and their dog, Daisy.

Bringing years of Salesforce.com experience to ITC, Jason has an in-depth understanding of all aspects of Salesforce.com configuration process. He was responsible for the management and support of 158 Salesforce.com seats spanning two business divisions in three global regions for a large Canadian based software company in his previous role. Jason is currently working on a single large implementation that required the migration of several companies from non-Salesforce.com CRM’s into a single Salesforce Platform. In the future he will be managing multiple projects for Idle Tools Corp. Jason Lives in Apex, NC with his wife, Michelle, son Matt, and daughter Anna.

Chris is serving as the project and portfolio manager for Idle Tools Corp. He is an information technology and management veteran. In 1995, Chris began working as a data center manager for Siemens Corporation. Since 2005, he moved into an IT project manager role. Chris has a project management professional (PMP) certification, which he has held for the past ten years. Today, Chris is applying his project management experience in his role at Idle Tools where he works to ensure active projects are moving forward in an efficient manner. In his free time, Chris enjoys golfing and scuba diving. He currently resides in Wendell, NC.

In addition to managing internal marketing programs, Oliver is a Salesforce.com and Pardot consultant. He is certified as a Salesforce.com administrator and Pardot consultant. He performs Salesforce.com / Pardot configuration and business anlysis in addition to working closly with clients to ensure the succesful execution of projects. As the marketing manager, he is in runs Idle Tool's marketing automation program through Pardot in addition to managing social media marketing, website assets, paid search advertising, and search engine optimization. He holds a degree in business administration from NC State University. Oliver lives in downtown Raleigh and enjoys biking, photography and traveling in his free time.
